Dear Faringdonians – Live at the Park

Dear Fellow Faringdonians, You may be aware that Faringdon Town F.C. will be holding Live at the Park 2017 in Tucker Park, a free event with the aim of raising money for local charities. This year it takes place on Friday, June 30th (7.00pm-11.00pm) and Saturday, July 1st (Midday-11.00pm). We have local bands playing live music both Friday evening and Saturday from 4.30pm, so there will be something for all the family to enjoy. During the day on Saturday there are markets stalls, traders & activities for both adults and children taking place. This year along with the Scarrott & Sons Family Fun Fair, we also have the 1st Faringdon Strongman & Strongwoman event run by Mission Fitness, a mini football tournament (FTFC U9s & U10s) and the Strut Your Dog – Dog Show. Weather permitting the Faringdon Fire Engine will be on-site running activities to show you how the Fire Service works. As a Faringdon resident we understand that this event may cause some disturbance to your normal weekend routine. We work closely with the Vale of White Horse environment team to keep this disturbance to a minimum. We continually monitor our procedures and update them from previous experiences as necessary. The sound level will be monitored throughout the event, with the aim of keeping it within previously agreed levels. Our curfew for live music is 11.00pm on both nights and this will be strictly adhered to. We ask you to bear with us for this charity event. You are of course welcome to come and join the party and entry is free. We look forward to seeing you and hope you enjoy your day. http://www.liveatthepark.co.uk
